Welcome To Our Farm

Arlee and Diane Sheets are fourth generation farmers working the same land Diane’s great-grandparents purchased in 1922. With an 80-acre maple sugar bush and 100 acres of tillable land, draft horses do most of the heavy lifting.

“We believe that wholesome food should be affordable. The more small farmers there are, the stronger our community,” says Arlee Sheets.

Rock-N-Horse Farm offers year-round Farm Harvest Shares. In the summer months, Rock-N-Horse Farm offers a Community Shared Agriculture program. Come winter, Rock-N-Horse is the place to visit in Mississippi Mills for an old fashioned sleigh ride!

Community Shared Agriculture

Our CSA program builds a relationship between farmer and consumer. At Rock-N-Horse Farm, our full vegetable share can provide enough fresh produce for two adults or a family with children.

Maple Syrup

Lovers of pure maple syrup will be delighted to discover Rock-N-Horse Farm produces maple syrup over a wood fire.  Taste the difference for yourself.  Visit our Farm Shop at 1267 Rae Road in Almonte and take home a bottle of liquid gold.
