Our oldest daughter Kaylee is a Certified First Aid instructor through the Lifesaving Society (LSS), she is available to teach First Aid courses throughout the Ottawa Valley Area at your location.
 

Emergency First Aid
includes: CPR-B certification 

Designed to give participants a general overview of first aid by teaching you how to think and react in an emergency until medical help arrives. This course is suitable for those who are working as first responders in their workplace.

Duration: Eight hours, which can be broken into two evenings or 1 day

Certification: Valid for two years

Cost: $75/Person, Group rates available

  • Primary and Secondary Assessment
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Adult, Child and Infant CPR
  • Adult, Child and Infant Choking Procedures
  • Circulatory Emergencies – heart attack, angina, stroke and transient ischemic attack (TIA)
  • Shock
  • Bleeding - Major and Minor

Standard First Aid Course 
 includes: CPR C certification
  
Introduces participants to the more in depth functions of CPR by covering  major and minor topics, such as: Broken bones, Diabetes, Spinal injury, Choking, and head injuries. This course is suitable for first responder in the workplace, and also is a requirement for the NLS (lifeguarding) course.

Duration: 16 hours, which can be broken into Evenings, Days and Evenings, or 2 days

Certification: Valid for two years

Cost: $120/person. Large group rates available

  • Environmental - Hot and Cold – Emergencies
  • Breathing Emergencies- asthma, hyperventilation, and anaphylaxis (major allergies)

Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Course
can be included with: Emergency First Aid Course

Duration: 4 hours

Prerequisites: Must have CPR-B or higher certification

Certification: Valid for two years 

Cost : $30/person. Combo fees available
