Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) is a local and economical model of agriculture and food distribution. CSA refers to individuals or families who have pledged to support one or more local farms, with growers and consumers sharing the risk and benefits of the harvest.
As you may recall from our January 2015 blog entry, Rock-N-Horse Farm only offered 10 full CSA shares for the summer of 2015. As our CSA families receive their second basket this week, we thought this would be a perfect time to share photos of the early season bounty. Plenty of glorious greens and rich reds.
